The Perry County Community Foundation, The United Way of Perry County & Pick Perry are sponsoring Fundraising Without Fear – a workshop taught by Nonprofit Consultant June Miller.
This workshop is free and open to all non-profit staff, board members, or volunteers that are looking to enhance their Fundraising skills.
The workshop will be April 25, 2019 from 10am-2pm at Ivy Tech Community College in Tell City. Lunch will be provided by Old National Bank.
Topics include: Why fundraising is not begging, it is a values exchange; why people give to charities; the most effective ways to fundraise; the Board of Directors’ role in fundraising; Creating a fund development plan; the three parts of the fundraising process, and what is most important and much more!
Workshop instructor, June Miller, has been involved in nonprofit training, consultation and facilitation for over 25 years. She is a BoardSource Certified Governance Trainer, a Certified Training Presenter; holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and has partnered with Indiana Youth Institute as a consultant since 2005.
