Anyone curious about DNA genealogy is invited to the Perry County Library Nov 14th for a seminar. The genealogy department will discuss DNA testing, what tests may reveal about individual geographic origins, what are some common misconceptions, the basic understanding of DNA, and learning how to choose the right individual test.
There will be two programs, one at 1:00 PM and another at 5:30 PM. Seating is limited, so call 812-547-2661 to reserve a spot.
After each program, one participant will have his or her name drawn for a free Ancestry DNA test kit donated by the Perry County Friends of the Library.
