October 18th – 19th will be the annual Route 66 yard sales from Troy through Tell City, Cannelton, Rocky Point, Rome, Derby, Dexter, Magnet, and Oriole. Since its inception a decade ago, the event has become a popular fall-tour attraction.
Those wanting to participate but who do not live along the route can call the Perry County Visitors Bureau (812-547-7933) for locations where the public can sell their merchandise.
