The Rome VFD annual Hog Roast and fundraiser will be held September 15th beginning at 11:30 AM at the Rome Community Center. A meal consisting of pulled pork, creek fried potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, and tea or lemonade will be served. Cost is $8.00 per meal. Sweet Water will be providing the entertainment. Other activities include a country store and a raffle along with face painting, and a straw search for the kids.
