The second of two informational meetings will share plans for a winter warmth program that will provide accommodations for homeless people. Several churches are working with the Perry County Winter Shelter Committee on plans for the program.
Volunteers interested in taking part in the program this fall and winter are invited to the next meeting on Sept 11th at 6:30 P.M. at the Tell City Depot. Volunteers are needed to prepare light meals, laundry, and other support chores.
