Job description
Summary: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures along with pipe and electrical systems at the Cannelton Plant in Cannelton Indiana.
Essential functions of the job include the following:
- Able to work in a safe and cooperative manner
- Perform and document routine and preventative/predictive maintenance
- Maintain and repair all types of woodworking machinery
- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment
- Maintain and repair forklifts
- Lay out, assemble, and test electrical apparatus, pipe, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Fabricate, machine, and/or repair fixtures or parts
- Responsible for all building maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Experience with boilers, air compressors, dust collection system, and dry kilns preferred
- Experience with PLCs preferred
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical ability
- Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime
- Ability to work within a team environment
Education or experience required: High school or equivalent; Associate’s degree in related field preferred
