Job description

Summary: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures along with pipe and electrical systems at the Cannelton Plant in Cannelton Indiana.

Essential functions of the job include the following:

  • Able to work in a safe and cooperative manner
  • Perform and document routine and preventative/predictive maintenance
  • Maintain and repair all types of woodworking machinery
  • Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment
  • Maintain and repair forklifts
  • Lay out, assemble, and test electrical apparatus, pipe, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Fabricate, machine, and/or repair fixtures or parts
  • Responsible for all building maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with boilers, air compressors, dust collection system, and dry kilns preferred
  • Experience with PLCs preferred
  • Strong electrical and/or mechanical ability
  • Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime
  • Ability to work within a team environment

Education or experience required: High school or equivalent; Associate’s degree in related field preferred
