Job Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the organization’s needs as they relate to marketing, public relations activities, business development and community visibility. This includes the planning, coordination, and implementation of PCMH’s brand in their primary and secondary markets. Primary responsibilities assigned to this position are to positively promote the Hospital, providers, service lines and programs internally and externally. This position is also responsible for providing support to the PCMH Foundation. Responsibilities of this position include market research, planning, developing, coordinating and implementing the organization’s annual and strategic marketing plan, ensuring alignment with organizational direction and communication. In addition, this position is responsible for promoting the organization throughout the community. The position responsibilities and activities are at all times conducted with professionalism, integrity through words and actions that enhance the image, and consistently reflect the intrinsic values of PCMH. The marketing coordinator serves as an internal and external role model.

Responsibilities
· Supports and promotes hospital’s mission, vision, values and goals.

· Models PCMH’s Behavior Standards.

· Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that increases awareness, community support, branding, social media, newsletters, internal and external communications

· Be the lead on anything related to community perception and branding as it relates to community events and hospital promoted events.

· Assist with the coordination of Foundation Board and Committee meetings including agenda and minutes.

· Assist the Foundation with event planning efforts for the organization. Ensure gift acknowledgement processes are accurate and timely. Ensures donor database is accurate and up-to-date.

· Support organization’s departments in conducting health fairs, wellness screenings and other departmental marketing events.

· Operate within the organization’s strategic framework to develop advertising, promotion, digital and social media, brand recognition management and community partnership plans.

· Strong project management skills including the ability to effectively manage time, meet multiple competing deadlines and develop thoughtfully written materials.

· Translate business goals into a comprehensive integrated marketing strategy that supports and enhances the collective brand image of PCMH in alignment with organization goals to ensure successful implementation of the strategic plans, growth plans and revenue goals.

· Ability to collect, analyze and present data and information.

· Develop presentations for various audiences.

· Must be able to manage time and determine priorities

· Relationship building with key community organizations.

· Demonstrated knowledge of regional and national healthcare trends. Knowledge of best practices related to marketing.

· Ability to develop and maintain a supportive, collaborative relationship between the Foundation, Auxiliary, Hospital and key internal and external stakeholders.

· Assume additional responsibilities as needed, with little or no supervision.

· Provide support to other positions as needed.

· Computer proficient (donor database, word processing, data entry, e-mail, spreadsheet, webinar, presentation, social media including website, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In and Facebook).

· Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, public relations, marketing and communications or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Valid driver’s license required and the ability to travel

Experience

Three to five years marketing and/or business development experience, healthcare environment strongly preferred.

Mental/Physical Effort

Mental demands arise from pressure created by responsibility, working on multiple projects, compliance with guidelines/regulations and deadlines. Work requires attention to detail, initiative, decision-making and flexibility. Time with be spent in office-type setting and in Hospital and other community locations. Some transportation of equipment/supplies required.
