As an IT Field Services Technician, you will be the go-to resource for employees requiring technical assistance with computer systems, software, and networks. This role requires problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT liaison, providing desk-side and remote technical support.

• Maintain and administer computer networks, hardware, software, and configurations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, recommending effective solutions.

• Support plant process systems, including Command, APEX/JWS, and Libra Loadout.

• Assist in inventory management and asset tracking.

• Deploy software updates and patches as needed.

• Adhere to IT security policies and ensure compliance.

• Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Travel to business sites as needed to provide additional support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of IT support experience preferred.

• Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, VPNs, and networking.

• Certifications such as A+, ITIL Foundation, or MCP preferred.

• Experience with Citrix, ShoreTel, or Command Alkon systems is a plus.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical & Travel Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods.

• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

• Must pass background check, alcohol, and drug testing.

• Work outside of normal business hours as required.

Work Environment

• Combination of office and industrial plant sites.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required (e.g., hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety glasses).
