As a 3rd Year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will learn and practice core elements of retail pharmacy operations, patient interactions, and clinical services. This role is ideal for a pharmacy student looking to build real-world experience while contributing to better health outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support patient care initiatives and counseling efforts as permitted

• Promote and manage patient engagement programs and clinical services

• Assist in inventory management, quality assurance, and workflow processes

• Maintain pharmacy standards and compliance with federal and state regulations

• Deliver outstanding customer service with empathy and professionalism

• Engage in continuous learning to strengthen your pharmacy knowledge

• Support immunization efforts (if eligible and permitted by state law)

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy (entering 3rd year)

• Possess or be in the process of obtaining state-required intern and/or technician licensure

• 0–3 years of relevant pharmacy or customer service experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to patient safety and a collaborative team environment

• Availability to work nights and weekends

• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, reaching, bending, and fine motor coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Immunization eligibility and willingness to administer vaccines (where allowed by law)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
