About the Role

As a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring residents receive their prescribed medications safely and effectively. Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will also assist with general caregiving duties while maintaining compliance with state regulations and facility protocols. This position is perfect for a certified CNA/QMA who is passionate about long-term care and committed to resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately set up, administer, and document prescribed medications

• Monitor residents for reactions or side effects and report to supervising nurse

• Provide basic patient care in accordance with CNA duties

• Maintain accurate and timely records of medication administration

• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and facility procedures

• Support a positive environment for residents by engaging with kindness and professionalism

Qualifications

• Certified Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) in the state of practice

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing

• No findings in the state registry related to abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

• Compassionate, dependable, and able to work well in a team
