About the Role
As a Supply Chain Manager at Parker Aerospace, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing procurement, materials planning, inventory management, and supplier coordination for our manufacturing operations. Your primary focus will be to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, support production planning, and meet customer expectations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead process improvement initiatives, contributing directly to our mission of enabling sustainable, efficient flight systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in modern supply chain strategies, lean manufacturing, and supplier performance management to lead a high-impact team within a global leader in aerospace technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and materials management activities, including sourcing, order placement, and supplier performance
- Oversee production planning and inventory control to ensure 100% on-time delivery and accuracy of materials data
- Coordinate shipping/receiving operations and resolve discrepancies
- Use tools such as MRP, PFEP, and S&OP to manage materials and capacity planning
- Facilitate cost reduction initiatives and supplier optimization efforts
- Align local policies with corporate EHS, compliance, and quality standards
- Coach and develop materials team members; provide performance feedback and growth opportunities
- Support Lean practices including Kanban, JIT, and waste minimization programs
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to support customer and supplier relationships
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field (required)
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain or procurement leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proven knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., MRP II), supply chain automation, and cost management
- Experience in Lean principles and familiarity with APICS/CPM certification (preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
